For stability and durability, you need to prepare a solid and straight foundation for the sauna.

• Standard options:
  Concrete slab, gravel, decking, garden tiles, paving.
  
  
• Soil-based choice:
  On stable ground, even a properly prepared gravel foundation (with removal of the biological layer, geotextile, compaction, slight elevation) is sufficient and may reduce overall spending.
  
  
• Upon request:
  If you're unsure about soil reliability, we can install screw piles for maximum stability and moisture protection on any soil type.
  Note: This option may cost more than common foundations.
  

• The interior surfaces and details of the sauna are treated with special substances before initial use and also once a year in the future.
  
  
• The exterior surfaces of the sauna need to be given a first protective coating right after installation and annually in the future.
  
  
• The benches, backrests and footrests must be treated with a protective oil, to extend their service life. This procedure should be repeated once or twice a year in the future.
